What is an Audiologist
The Hearing Center of

  •    An Audiologist is the health care professional specializing in the   
            diagnosis of hearing disorders
  •   All Audiologists holds a Master or Doctoral degree from an accredited
            college.
  •   Additional requirements, including a national examination and Clinical   
             Fellowship necessary to receive the Certificate of Clinical Competence
        
    (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing  Association.





  •    Audiologists in Michigan are credentialed by the Michigan Board of  
             Audiology.  Continuing education is required to keep these credentials.
